Hello, my name is Patsy (Spaeth) Henry and I teach kindergarten. I have been a teacher for 32 years and 28 of that has been here at St. Mary's. My entire teaching career has been all in Kindergarten! I was born and raised in Gainesville, Texas. Both my brother and I are graduates of St. Mary’s K-8 as well as my four children and my niece and nephew. My great-niece and nephew are current students at SMS. I graduated hish school from a boarding school in San Antonio, Texas - Incarnate Word High School. I received my college degree from the University of North Texas in Denton.
I am married to Eddy Henry who is a teacher for GISD. We have four children, 1 grandson and 3 granddogs!
St. Mary’s is a family. I started in Kindergarten here am still here. It is wonderful to see the families who have supported SMS for years. I am teaching many of the children/grandchildren that my mother taught here when she was the kindergarten teacher for 23 years. The love for St. Mary’s continues to grow.
