It is our pleasure to welcome you to St. Mary's Catholic School! For 120 years, the school has educated children and prepared them to become active participants in the life of the Church and leaders in our community. St. Mary's School is dedicated to giving students a rigorous Catholic education that supports each individual child. Your children are important to us, and we are committed to providing them an excellent educational and spiritual foundation. Our school incorporates high expectations for the escalation of the student’s ability level as he/she successfully approaches and completes learning experiences. The overall educational mission is aimed at the growth of the student’s spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, cultural, physical, and the evidence of self-respect. St. Mary's recognizes that parents have a choice in the educational needs of your children. St. Mary's meets those needs, and will exceed your expectations.
Founded in 1879, St. Mary's Catholic School is the oldest continuous Catholic School in North Central Texas. From its inception, St. Mary's has welcomed any student who is academically qualified, regardless of racial, economic, religious, sociological or ethnic background. Although the majority of the student body is Catholic, about 35% belong to other denominations. Today, St. Mary's is home to more than 175 students ranging from pre-kindergarten three-year-olds through eighth grade.
